I go walking around North Creek Lake almost every morning since June 2017, normally doing 4 laps and it's a great lake to walk around, which I do notice many people walking around their dogs, jogging, fishing, exercising, kids playing at the park, Watkins Mill high school students running the mile, eat at the picnic tables, photographers, and such.

Glad to know there's no sign saying you can't feed the ducks or goose, so I don't hesitate, unlike Lake Wheatstone, which says you can't feed wildlife unfortunately enough.

But one thing I hate about this lake (and most sidewalks around lakes in general) is the excessive amount of the mallard duck and Canada goose's (and occasional white colored swan) feces lying on the sidewalk, which can make for a rather uncomfortable walk experience, but other than that it's an OK lake. And I've seen a mini street sweeper in the park cleaning up the feces, but it should be done weekly (except winter of course) in my honest opinion.

Though the Montgomery Village Foundation should seriously consider putting a few pet waste stations around the lake, since I've seen multiple people who simply let their dogs poop on the grass, which is not acceptable. And perhaps put some lights in the tunnel that goes underneath Montgomery Village Avenue, since it can get dark in there in the late afternoon, though I know that the rules on the park sign says no people are allowed in the park after daylight hours.

Cute little lake-park. Lots of geese, some beavers, raccoons and birds live here. I'm gonna keep visiting since I just moved next to it. Great place to walk/run/exercise/chill in a clean, green area.
